Our History

Alliance Security Group is a Canadian company with its parent company Allied Security located in New Zealand.

Originating in New Zealand our firm has expanded through New Zealand, Australia and Canada and we offer extensive coverage across all three countries. Formed by current management in 1992, and as a result of the dedication of our staff, Alliance Security has grown into an international security services provider. Our head office is located at:

Barry Wilding

Director of Events & Executive Services
With over 24 years of experience in the security industry, Barry is a seasoned expert. His expertise lies in managing large scale events and creating security management plans, processes, policies to minimise security threats and risks.

Over the years, his client roster has boasted some of the biggest names in the music industry. Barry has overseen security operations for Metallica, Guns and Roses, ACDC, Beyonce and also served as the Director of Security for the 2010 Winter Olympics

Established in 1977, the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the security industry. We protect and promote the interests of our members and the safety of all Canadians through education, advocacy, and leadership.

We are a recognized voice of the security industry in Canada and have a growing membership of more than 1000 member organizations in 10 Regions across the country representing all segments of the industry.
